Sara Mascari, AAS, CVT

Sara Mascari (she/her) is the Center Coordinator at the Center of Animal Health and Food Safety. She completed her Associates of Applied Science for Veterinary Technology in 2012 at Argosy University. Sara’s passion for animals started early with the love of puffins, followed by learning about the conservation for endangered species while working for the Minnesota Zoo. As part of creating her own degree, Sara is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Multidisciplinary Studies here at the University of Minnesota focusing on Communications, Social Sciences, and Veterinary Public Health. Her goals are to combine the unique degree and her knowledge of animals to further aid in the conservation of endangered species and protection of all species from harmful diseases.
