Mila Velimirovich-Holtz, MS

Mila Velimirovich-Holtz is an Education Associate at the Center of Animal Health and Food Safety. She has completed degrees at the University of Minnesota that include a Bachelors in Science with emphasis on animal science and also a Masters of Science Education. Much of her educational experience comes from her time as a high school science teacher in urban schools and as an informal educator at the Bell Museum, an institution with the University of Minnesota. Mila’s passions for education and animal science motivate her to find ways to grow on both topics so that she may assist in increasing scientific knowledge and understanding for students and communities. Her role at CAHFS is to support the design and implementation of eLearning projects.
