Emilio Leon, Med. Vet., PhD

Emilio León is a veterinarian specializing in veterinary epidemiology. Dr. León's professional activities have mainly been in the fields of research, teaching and capacity building. He has published more than 50 articles in scientific journals and 100 abstracts in congress or symposiums. 

He has also worked extensively with the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), having co-directed an OIE Collaborating Centre for more than 10 years, and has served as part of the group of experts for the evaluation of veterinary services.
