Summary

Daniella is a veterinarian from Brazil, and a CAHFS/Veterinary Population Medicine/UMN alumni. She works as an official veterinarian at a State Level, responsible for the Swine Health of Mato Grosso, Brazil. Her research topics are related to the Epidemiology and Surveillance of hemorrhagic fevers of swine (African and Classical swine fevers), mostly focusing on early detection. Risk analysis and Spatial Epidemiology are the fields of interest. 

Daniella is a former student of the first version of ProgRESSVet that took place in 2017 for official veterinarians of Latin America. And her Ph.D. was concluded in June 2022 at UMN.
