Summary

Bryan Birtcil is a veterinarian who received his DVM from Iowa State University in 2017 and his MPH from Ohio State University in 2022. He is currently a research (e-learning) project specialist with the Center for Animal Health and Food Safety (CAHFS), after having completed the Public Health and Preventive Medicine residency program in 2024. His professional background includes entomology research with the University of Arizona and slaughter inspection as a Supervisory Public Health Veterinarian with the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).
