Allyson Patterson is a first-year resident in the Veterinary Public Health and Preventative Medicine program. Originally from North Carolina, she completed her undergraduate and veterinary training at NC State University. Allyson then spent a year as a Food Animal Medicine and Surgery Intern Veterinarian at the University of Missouri before transitioning to private large animal practice in western Connecticut. Allyson’s professional interests include herd health, global agricultural development, and scientific communication.
