Kaushi is a researcher in the Department of Veterinary Population Medicine. Her research involves the use of spatial epidemiology to solve One Health problems. Kaushi's research focuses on zoonotic diseases, food safety-related to the food of animal origin, and impacts of intensive livestock production on public and environmental health.
